Important facts about car maintenance

In today’s world, most everybody will need a car.A few people even need the use of planes. But for many people, the use of a car is critical to surviving.  It takes people to work.It can get people to shopping centers. It can get people to and from school. So what I have to share with you is the 3 crucial parts of having your car in good working order.

This is from a perspective from my experience running a San Diego auto repair company.  The two areas I want to address is your safety and your car’s long term health.

So when it comes to safety you can put all types of maintenance as being critical to safety. But there is a part of your car that is critical to safety.  That part is your brakes. With cars being able to travel much faster than before, good brakes are essential for safety. With more and more people having so many distractions good brakes are a must.By taking the proper steps to care for them you will always have the ability to brake in time.Brakes that you make sure are well maintained will save lives and save money.  I have seen it first hand running a San Diego brakes shop.

In relation to your car, your car’s overall health will be dependant on how well maintained you keep your car.  Some of the important things to do are oil changes and tuneups. By making an effort to always change the oil you allow your car to run smoother and longer.  By not keeping your oil maintained it can ruin your engine.

Another thing you want to do is have regular tune ups.  If you do that you keep all your car’s major functions taken care of.  By doing this once again your car will runner smoother and cleaner.  If you don’t do this your car will run bad.  Some of the consequences could lead to failed smog tests.  Most of the cars that fail in my San Diego smog check shop are the ones that didn’t take care of those things.

So by doing these two things you will keep your car safe and you and your loved ones safe.
